You’d think a genocidal space ninja cyborg capable of parkouring up skyscrapers can withstand some measly tackles. But no, your Warframe is prone to knockdowns. While you can generally just ignore knockdowns in Warframe‘s early levels, you’re in trouble if you get knocked down in Steel Path. We’ve thus prepared this Warframe Primed Sure Footed guide to ensure that your Warframe never gets a beloved permanent reunion with the ground.

First off, what is Primed Sure Footed? For all you Warframe newbies out there, it’s an extremely rare Primed mod. It will render your Warframe immune to knockdowns thanks to its rather straightforward effect:

  • +100% Chance to Resist Knockdown

It’s worth noting that the Primed Chamber mod is for the Exilus slot, meaning you also have to unlock your Warframe‘s Exilus or utility slot.

As for why you’d need it, it’s only one of the best defensive mods out there, probably even better than Adaptation or Catalyzing Shields. Because as we’ve stated earlier, there’s no shortage of sources of knockdowns in Warframe.

Getting knocked down in Warframe renders your Warframe incapable of doing anything for a second or so. That means you can’t trigger Shield-gating or cast Abilities that can save your Warframe. You can imagine how deadly that is in Steel Path. A single strong enemy can just kill you in one hit while you’re on the ground.

Count these into the list of threats that can knock your Warframe down.

  • Ancients, Juggernaut (Infested enemies)
  • MOAs, Mine Osprey (Corpus enemies)
  • Heavy Gunner, Bombard, Napalm, Hellion (Grineer)
  • Corrupted variants of those enemies

As you can see, the three major factions you fight in Warframe are full of knockdown tactics and specialists. That’s why you’re eventually going to need Primed Sure Footed.

Sadly, Primed Sure Footed isn’t available for trading, nor is it available in enemy or mission drop tables.

You can only obtain Primed Sure Footed in Warframe‘s Daily Login reward milestone. To be more specific, you need to log in at least 400 times, after that. For the 400th Log-in Reward, you’ll be given a choice to pick either Primed Sure Footed, Primed Vigor, Primed Shred, or Primed Fury.

Of course, pick Primed Sure Footed, as it’s the most valuable. If you missed Primed Sure Footed on the 400th Login and picked something else out of ignorance, don’t worry; you’ll be given the chance once more on the 600th Log-in. After that, Primed Sure Footed will be available once more on the 900th Log-in.

Sadly, if you still miss it, the only good alternative to Primed Sure Footed is Warframe abilities that make them immune to knockdowns (100 percent resistance), and not all Warframes have that. The most notable ones are Rhino, Nezha, Revenant, and Gauss.
