Don’t let her size fool you. Anyone who knows Cagliostro in Granblue Fantasy: Relink knows she can be a killing machine with the right build. As the creator of Alchemist, she brings a lot of skills to the table that allows her to eliminate enemies on the spot, escape dicey situations, and even support party members. However, since she doesn’t have as many abilities as the protagonist or other characters set to perform two or more roles, she’s better off with a hybrid build of sorts to adapt to certain situations. So, buckle up because building this Alchemist is one of the most rewarding things in the game.
How To Build Cagliostro in Granblue Fantasy: Relink
Cagliostro is usually seen as a DPS character in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, but this hybrid build also allows her to buff a group as well. Regarding gameplay, she is a bit similar to Gran and Djeeta regarding her combos. There is a bit of button mashing with a charged attack on the side. Mastering the latter is important during her skills’ downtime and in certain fights. So, with that explanation out of the way, let’s dive into what she needs to function as a powerhouse in the game.
Weapon: Transmigration Tome
For this build, we decided to go with something simple, and that is the Transmigration Tome. This weapon provides a flat Attack bonus that allows you to add more stats via Wrightstones. We always recommend critical hit damage, but you are free to add the stat you feel you need the most. The Sacred Codex is another weapon that many players equip her with, but we feel you’re trading a lot of damage potential for other stats, and that won’t work as well in certain quests.
Skills and Sigils
Now, let’s move on to the meaty part of this build for Cagliostro in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. She doesn’t have the biggest lineup of abilities, but she is all about quality instead of quantity. Before we delve into the rotation, here are the ones you need for her:
- Pain Train
- Alexandria
- Mimic Doll
- Phantasmagoria
In any fight and quest, it doesn’t matter the type; always open up with Phantasmagoria. This skill provides attack and critical hit bonuses to you and the party. After that, rush toward your enemy with Pain Train. In between these skills, weave in as many combos as possible. It is important to learn how to charge your Collapse ability, as this charged attack does a lot of damage. When the enemy enters a Break state, follow up with Alexandria and trigger Collapse, which should charge faster. Mimic Doll is there to let you dodge lethal attacks or hit an enemy right after they enter Overdrive.

Ultimately, you can try another setup for Cagliostro, but after experimenting with her, this is a great build. She might not bring healing or a lot of debuffs, but she can get the party pumped and dish out a lot of damage, making her a great choice for a main DPS character.
