Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 has put the pedal to the metal with a brand new Resurgence Ranked Play mode. Players are using the best in their arsenal to defeat their opponents in normal and ranked lobbies, however, some of the meta weapons are not the same robust kickers they used to be. Season 2 has changed the Warzone weapons meta, putting some nerfed points on RAM-7 and giving a super buffed stats to WSP-9.

Perks Changes:
- Flex: The enemy footsteps audio is more clear now.
- Irradiated: Allows the players to apply armor plates in gas, while also taking less damage there.
- Quick Fix: Regenerates health faster while applying armor.
- Shrouded: Deploys the smoke in a random spot around the downed player so it’s harder for the enemies to spot them.
The Warzone Season 2 meta is reintroducing the WSP-9, an SMG that feels more like a battle rifle when it comes to throwing heavy punches. The damage range on this Uzi simulator has got a significant buff, with a bit of an ADS time mobility increase. The second star of this Call of Duty: Buff Show is the XRK Stalker, now able to one-shot with explosive rounds in the 50m range. Of course, you can increase this range by attaching a muzzle and a barrel to this majesty.
Somehow, the TR-76 Geist fromย MW2ย also has a body damage buff. There are a lot ofย MW2ย weapons on this list, but not all of them have gotten an eye-catching buff. Like RPK, most of these 1yo guns have a very light buff on their mobility and accuracy. And for some reason, the KV Broadside shotgun can now aim faster, as if it was a much-needed change in the game.

Now, it’s time to review the nerfed weapons that are not considered the Warzone Season 2 meta, except for the RAM-7. No matter how much they nerf this AR, it stays rock-solid after every update. This time, the RAM-7 has a nerf on its damage range, and nearly all players inย Warzoneย Ranked Play are using it to prove the “no effects” point.
Next on the list is the shining star ofย MW3ย Ranked Play mode, the MCW. This poor AR has been constantly nerfed during the past updates, and it’s been hit again, this time on its ADS speed. Holger 556 and Bas-B have gone under the same treatment as well. Finally, the HRM-9’s damage range is now a little nerfed to be more of an SMG than a super lightweight AR.
All the metaย MW3’s shotguns inย Warzoneย are nerfed in Season 2, unable to hit ranged shots easily any longer. Another critical hit in the Season 2 nerfed category is the KVD Enforcer, which was the marksman rifle lovers’ last hope after the constant nerfs of MTZ Interceptor. Oh, wait, the Interceptor is again nerfed to the ground this season.
