Adam Sandler totally gets the hype around Taylor Swift. While appearing on Conan O’Brien’s Need A Friend podcast recently, the Leo star revealed he’s a major fan of the singer thanks to his two daughters, Sadie and Sunny. In fact, Adam admires Swift so much that he compares her to The Beatles. So, how does he think they’re similar? Apparently, it all comes down to their success.

Getting compared to The Beatles is a huge compliment. The English rock band, who rose to fame during the 1960s, is considered one of the greatest groups of all time. They’ve released so many hit singles over the years, including “Yesterday,” “Hey Jude,” and “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” just to name a few. Their music is so timeless that it’s transcended generations.
Sandler thinks Swift’s music has the same impact. Ever since she released her debut self-titled album in 2006, the star has released hit after hit. After nearly two decades of being in the spotlight, she only continues to gain new fans every day. One of those Swifties is Sandler himself. The Murder Mystery actor told O’Brien that his daughters are big fans of Swift. Naturally, he grew to like her, too, and he’s even learned all the words to her songs.
[Taylor Swift has] so many smash hits. There’s not a word my kids don’t know. I know them too, by the way. But they know them inside and out.

Sandler continued to praise Swift by saying her discography is just as impressive as The Beatles. He explained:
Remember The Beatles? Every f*cking song on the record, you knew? That’s Taylor Swift. too. There’s not a song you skip. You go, ‘That one’s pretty damn cool.’

The actor even admitted that Swift is the only celebrity he still gets starstruck by. Sandler explained that she means so much to his daughter that he gets “jumpy” whenever he sees the singer in person.
I don’t want to blow it for my kids… I talk a little too loud or something. I don’t act as cool as I can.

Sandler’s comments come three months after Swift was named Time’s Person of the Year in December following the success of her Eras Tour in 2023.
