The long-awaited King version of Midas has finally arrived in Fortnite. Midas somehow managed to escape from his imprisonment by Hades in the Underworld and you can find him now on the island. You’ll also be able to grab the Ascendant Midas skin variation, aka King Midas, very soon. There are two different ways to get this skin, and one of them is free. Without further ado, let’s dive into the details of where is Midas located on the Fortnite island and how to get his skin.
How To Obtain Ascendant Midas in Fortnite
The Ascendant Midas skin will be added to the Shop in Fortnite on March 26 at 8 PM ET and will be available for purchase. Along with this new variation, you’ll also be able to purchase the Golden King’s Cape Back Bling and The Golden Touch Pickaxe. However, there is currently no exact information on how many V-Bucks it will cost.
How To Get Ascendant Midas Free in Fortnite
Epic Games also introduced the new Rise of Midas Cup tournament on March 24th. In this tournament, players who earn the most points in their region will be rewarded with the Ascendant Midas skin and Golden King’s Cape Back Bling for free.
The cool thing is that the winning players will receive these rewards before the cosmetics even land in the Shop. Players who participate and earn at least 8 points will be rewarded with The Rise of Midas Loading Screen.
Where Is Midas Located in Fortnite
Let’s now move on to where we can find Midas in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. Midas managed to escape from the prison under The Underworld, where he was being held by Hades, and made his way to The Marigold.
He is now on his ship and trying to leave the island of Fortnite. When you go to The Marigold, you can find him wandering around on his ship and you can also interact with him just like any other NPC.
