We all know that being an artist isn’t always the most profitable or enjoyable career path, but in the case of BitLife‘s Tortured Artist Challenge, we’ll get to see a whole new side of the career. We’ll start out an a woman in Illinois who has decided to become a painter. Though, from there, everything really just goes downhill. We’ll get our fair share of insults in, as well as some serious internet trolling, and finally, an alcohol addiction that we might just recover from. Let’s take a look at how, exactly, to complete the Tortured Artist Challenge in BitLife.
BitLife: Tortured Artist Challenge Tasks
Before we hop right into completing the challenge, let’s see what sort of tasks we’re up against this week.
- Be born a female in Illinois.
- Become a painter.
- Insult 5+ different people.
- Recover from an alcohol addiction.
- Troll 5+ people on social media after they’ve trolled you.
How To Be Born in Illinois in BitLife
Now, being born in a specific state isn’t the easiest if you don’t know the various cities within that state. First, surrender your life and start a custom life. From there, fill out the remainder of the fields in the creation menu with the following information:
- Gender – Female
- Country – United States
- Place – Chicago
The rest of the options can be filled out however you’d like.

If you want to complete the Tortured Artist Challenge in BitLife, it’s inevitable that you’ll need to become a painter as well. First, you should spend your early years doing anything creative. That can be attending art classes, or even visiting museums and art galleries. Once you make it into school, be sure to take part in extracurricular activities that involve arts as well. You can go to college for Fine Arts or Art History. At that point, study up and get some decent grades. When you graduate, start looking for jobs that have to do with being a Gallery or Art Assistant. With one of these jobs, you will quickly get Promoted to Painter.
How to Insult People in BitLife
Insulting people is a rather easy task, and sometimes kind of funny if you throw out the right insults. First, head over to the Relationships tab and select someone you have a relationship with. This can be friends, lovers, or even family members. Once you’re in their menu, you can scroll down until you see the Insult option, and select it. Repeat this at least 5 times until you have completed this task in the Tortured Artist Challenge in BitLife.
How To Recover From an Alcohol Addiction in BitLife
If you’ve spent any time drinking or hitting nightclubs, it’s likely that you have a pretty good alcohol addiction going, and if you don’t, hit up the clubs as much as possible. Once you’re addicted, head over to the Activities tab, and scroll down to the Rehab option. From there, you can go to AA and get treatment for your alcohol addiction.
How To Troll People on Social Media
It’s likely that you’ve got a bit of social media presence if you’re a painter, and with any social media presence, comes trolls. Any time someone trolls you on the internet, you will get a few options that pop up. Once of these options is to troll the person back, which admittedly isn’t the greatest idea, but it’s necessary if you plan to complete the Tortured Artist Challenge in BitLife. Repeat the process of trolling the trolls until you’ve done it at least five times.
