Asghari and Spears made the headlines when they tied the knot in 2022. Many hoped the couple would spend their lifetime together, but 14 months into their union, Asghari filed for divorce. Now, Britney Spears is reminiscing on her failed marriage. On Thursday, the Princess of Pop took to her Instagram page with a surprising post, which she has since deleted.
Britney Spears’s deleted post featured a video of her and Asghari doing what seemed like a dance choreography. In the intimate clip, a shirtless Asghari spun Spears around before picking her up as she wrapped her legs around his waist. The estranged couple appeared happy, smiling at each other throughout the routine. At the end of the video, Spears and Asghari kissed, after which the actor finally put his partner down.
Britney Spears Admits Her Marriage Wasn’t All Rosy
In the caption, Spears admitted that her marriage to Asghari wasn’t all peaches and cream.
“The time he picked me up…It’s weird cause there are always strange turns for relationships with friends family or your loved ones in the 🎢 of any journey you’re on with someone!!!” she explained.
Spears then noted that it was hard to look back sometimes, but it was important at the same time. According to her, reminiscing helped her to avoid making the same mistakes.
“I speak about my past sometimes because I want to protect myself from the same mistakes as before!!!” Spears wrote.
At the end of the lengthy write-up, the 42-year-old revealed she was a big lover.
“I love too much it’s embarrassing and I will love you for life!!!” she noted.
Spears concluded by revealing that it was a trait she wanted to keep, but “it’s not all peaches and cream.” Meanwhile, it seems Asghari has fully moved on and is more focused on his career. The pair have also stayed amicable, refusing to speak badly about each other since separating.
