Picture this: you just defeated the previous Dream Realm boss and feel as confident as you can be regarding your team and ideal formation, only to meet the Necrodrakon, who I like to call AFK Journey‘s first reality check. But don’t worry, as although the boss may feel like an impregnable wall at first, you can actually pry its defenses pretty easily. So brace yourself because here’s a guide on how to defeat the Necrodrakon in AFK Journey, as well as which heroes are the best for the fight.

Necrodrakon Moveset
Before facing the boss, it’s vital that you understand their moveset, which will be focused on applying debuffs and harmful effects to slowly drain the HP of your units. You can check out an overview of the full moveset of the Necrodrakon boss in AFK Journey below.

| Ultimate | Periodically deals damage to all of your heroes, while also increasing the damage they will receive. On the flip side, all heroes will also receive an ATK Speed buff. |

Best Heroes and Teams for the Necrodrakon Battle
Now that you have a good understanding of what awaits you in the fight, it’s time to assemble your team. You can do that by getting a mobile tank, a debuffer, a healer, and ideally two focused damage dealers. For the first spot, I recommend using Temesia —as she will be able to avoid the Necrodrakon’s second skill and normals while also dealing high damage.
Although mobile units like Shakir are the overall best picks for this fight, I found success while using, apart from Temesia, Kruger as my debuffer/secondary tank, Rowan as my healer/buffer, and both Cecia and Odie as my main damage dealers. How To Beat the Necrodrakon in AFK Journey
After selecting any of our teams and closing off our guide, you will be able to defeat the Necrodrakon in AFK Journey by using the 1-1-2-1 formation above. The formation will have your tank at the front, your debuffer by its right, your DPSs in the right and left extremities, and your healer by the center, which will, in turn, allow all units to stay as far as possible from one another while also staying within healing range.
Once your team is on the field, there is no mystery, so let them do what they do best and take you to victory. As an extra tip, remember to keep your team’s level high, as the quality of your formation won’t matter if your heroes cannot stay alive or deal enough damage during the battle.
