The source explained that Kravitz has “always admired” Carey. His feelings for the Fantasy singer were in full-effect during the filming of Precious. However, at that time Carey was married to Nick Cannon. Carey and Cannon later divorced in 2014, and share custody of their twins Monroe and Moroccan.
As for Kravitz, he was married to actress Lisa Bonet, with whom he has a daughter. Kravitz and Bonet divorced in 1993 after six years of marriage, but remain friends. Since his divorce, the Fly Away singer has been linked to actress Nicole Kidman and model Adriana Lima.

There has been no response from either star regarding the dating rumors. However, as the source tells Life & Style, the couple has support from their friends.
