Let’s face it: the mostย difficultย choice inย World of Warcraftย is picking a class. Now, withย WoW Remix: Mists of Pandariaย live on all servers, adventurers worldwide want to take the bestย classesย to this land inhabited by Pandaren.ย While all classes work great and can improve even further due to gems that modify spells or addย completelyย new ones,ย there are still certain classes thatย perform better than others in all content.ย Besides, withย how fast-paced this event isย and everyone rushing to level up their alts, choosing the right one is paramount.

Best Tank Classes

After some analysis, I thought it’d be a good idea to pick the best classes for WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria and split them into roles and for solo content. After all, many might be trying one class they haven’t in the live version of the game for one reason or another. So, let’s begin with tanks.

While there’s already a ranking for things like Mythic+ and endgame raids in Dragonflight, choosing a tank for WoW Remix shouldn’t be hard, especially with all the new skills. However, if you’re focusing on dungeon-delving to level up, there are two clear winners: Blood Death Knight and Vengeance Demon Hunter. Since you’ll have the same skill as in the retail version, these two are great choices for dungeons and raids. While Protection Paladin is also a great choice, the aforementioned ones are much better in many ways. Plus, you can level up Monk and Paladin as different specs and save yourself some time and effort.

Best Healer Classes

In WoW Dragonflight, I would never recommend leveling a healer from scratch, especially because most “healing” classes have a DPS spec, which makes things faster. However, there are two reasons to level up a healer in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. First, the new skills give healers a much-needed DPS boost. Second, those leveling solely through dungeons will have a faster queue time, which is also great for grinding these instances.

If you’re going down the healing road, I recommend Disciple Priest and Mistweaver Monk. Both are fantastic, with the former providing fantastic shields and the latter having a lot of mobility and healing output. For Priests, it is better to focus on dungeons, but for Monks, mixing a bit of questing isn’t a bad idea either.

Best DPS Classes

This one is a bit challenging because, in the end, all DPS classes will breeze through the content. However, a few are better due to the initial skills. If you’re focusing on questing, Paladins, Death Knights, and Demon Hunters are great choices. These are strong melee options that are quite tanky and have good early-level skills. If you prefer leveling a ranged character, Shamans and Druids are a good pick, too.

If you’re going for dungeons and raids, the queues will be much longer, so keep that in mind. Also, any DPS will do great in these instances, so don’t worry about picking any particular class for dungeon and raid farming; go with the one you like the most.

Best Solo Classes

Last but not least,ย there are a few classesย we feelย are the best when soloing content inย WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria.ย Keep in mindย that when we say solo,ย we’re mostly talkingย about questing.ย If you want to run from one enemy to another, youย can’tย goย wrongย withย Warlocks, Demon Hunters, Frost Mages, and Hunters.ย Any classย that hasย a petย will let you pull a lot of enemies toward you and defeat them in seconds. Thisย is a rule thatย applies to even the live version ofย World of Warcraft.

In the end, you’re free to choose the class you prefer the most. Frankly, I recommend choosing any class you haven’t leveled up yet in the normal version of the game. In my case, I’m finally trying a Priest because I always found it tedious to level from 10 to 70 in the retail version. And, as a last piece of advice, try to choose an Allied Race for the event; you’ll unlock their heritage armor once they move to the normal version of WoW.
