Riley Keough understood how important it was for her mom to share her story, so she decided to channel Lisa Marie and finish her mother’s final project.
The untitled memoir will hit bookstores on October 15. Random House Publishing describes Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough’s co-write as raw, riveting, and one-of-a-kind.ย
“Few people had the opportunity to know who my mom was, other than being Elvis’ daughter,” Riley has said. “I was lucky to have had that opportunity, and working on preparing her autobiography for publication has been a privilege, albeit a bittersweet one.” She added, “I’m so excited to share my mom now, at her most vulnerable and honest. In doing so, I hope readers come to love my mom as much as I did.”
