While many might opt for the newest and rarest waifus, he’s a terrific unit in many ways. So, if you already have Yuanwu on your roster, your time during Wuthering Waves can improve considerably with the right build and team for him.
Best Weapons for Yuanwu in Wuthering Waves
Yuanwu is the character that gets the most out of a build without the 5-star weapons of Wuthering Waves. This Resonator has better alternatives of lower rarity, making choosing a weapon for him much easier. Here are the ones we recommend:

Stonard is ideal for its Resonance Liberation DMG% effect after using a Resonance Skill, plus it has a high CRIT Rate stat. On the other hand, you can turn Yuanwu into a healer using Originite: Type IV to trigger healing effects.
Best Echo Sets for Yuanwu
Yuanwu’s primary role is to support other characters in Wuthering Waves, especially those with the Electro attribute. While he can also do some healing with characters like Yinlin or Calcharo, it’s better to use Void Thunder to increase the Electro DMG.

Calcharo or Yinlin are the Resonators who synergize best with Yuanwu since his Resonance Skill summons the Thunder Wedge to cause damage even off-field. For Yuanwu’s teammates, we have a few options, including some F2P alternatives:
