Jason Momoa is giving a rare insight into his budding romance with Adria Arjona. Momoa announced his relationship with the actress last month and, for the first time, has revealed what brought them together. The Aquaman star confessed that physical time is such a priority, and they achieve it by any means necessary.
Momoa gushed over his woman while on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of The Bikeriders. The movie is of sentimental value to the Hawaii native who has been riding all his life. “I just ride all the time. I travel everywhere and bring my bikes wherever I go when I’m shooting,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “It just fits with my DNA. Instantly, when I get on, everything just kind of goes away.” Luckily, Momoa can share such a special feeling with his younger girlfriend.
When asked if Arjona ever joined him on the back of the motorcycle, Momoa smiled as he answered, “My lady likes to ride.” The 44-year-old added that his girlfriend loves to wrap her arms around him from behind. “Any excuse for more hugs,” the DC star quipped. The actor’s rare comment about his love life comes a month after he and Arjona went Instagram official. In a surprise post, Momoa shared photos from a romantic trip to Japan.

In the photos shared, Momoa and Arjona couldn’t keep their hands off one another. In one frame, the Puerto Rican native sat in between his thighs as he hugged her from behind. In another slide, the lovers shared a laugh by the seaside as the wind blew their tresses. Momoa also dedicated a solo shot to the Hitman actress in the carousel. “Sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor,” the accompanying caption read.
Before the social media reveal, Momoa discussed his thriving love life during a May 11 appearance at a Comic Con festival in Basingstoke, England. When asked by a fan if he was single, the Game of Thrones alum answered, “I’m very much in a relationship. You’ll find out very soon.” Indeed, fans found out soon enough. Hopefully, the second time is a charm for Momoa.
