However, it seems that King Charles’ youngest son didn’t know that the decision would lead to a huge rift with his family members. Now, Harry is reportedly feeling homesick, and he wants to return to the UK. Even if he and Meghan don’t make a permanent residence there, he allegedly wants their two children, Archie and Lillibet, to know their British roots. However, Meghan is reportedly not on board with the idea.
Prince Harry is reportedly putting his foot down and telling Meghan Markle that he wants to take their children to the UK to celebrate the holidays. However, she doesn’t want to return to the country or the royal family, whom she believes treated her unfairly. Instead, she’s content living her life out in California, where she’s working on her career and new projects.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield recently told Fox News that the Duke of Sussex changes his thoughts about returning to the UK on a daily basis. Sometimes he feels content with his life, and other times he’s heartbreakingly homesick.
Instead of supporting Prince Harry when it comes to making amends with his family, Schofield claims that Meghan Markle is much more concerned about her new lifestyle brand. In addition, she’s trying to re-establish her Hollywood connections as well. “Meghan is totally focused on winning over the elite in Hollywood. With jam. And dog treats,” the royal expert quipped.
In addition, Schofield adds that the royal family is likely not concerned with Harry and Meghan’s drama at the moment. Instead, they’re focused on King Charles and Kate Middleton’s health. They’re reportedly looking ahead as they heal and spend time together. Sadly, Harry isn’t part of that plan at the moment.
It remains to be seen if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will ever be able to return to the UK with their kids and feel welcomed. However, fans are holding out hope that the couple can do something to lessen the rift with the royal family.
