Reality TV shows like The Bachelorette donโt always have the best success stories, but they do make for really entertaining viewing. Jenn Tranโs season is no exception, and she really enjoyed getting to know the contestants on her seasonโฆ some a little more than others. She recently revealed in a new interview that there are some things she regrets doing on the show (you know, with a camera filming her every move) because her family is going to be watching her antics, which she described as โsteamy.โ
โI donโt have regrets in any decisions that I made because I trusted myself very much, and I still do,โ she told Kaitlyn Bristowe on her Off the Vine podcast earlier this week. โI think everything happened the way it was supposed to. I think that I regret the steamy make-outs because my family will be watching.โ Her family may want to turn away when it comes to moments like this, but her fans will have their eyes glued to the screen.

Tran also admitted that things were different when she was in control on The Bachelorette (fans will remember her from The Bachelor season with Joey Graziadei, where she competed for his affection). โAnd then the second time around, I was like, what do you mean? Iโm just living my life,โ she shared. โSo, like, in my head, I was like, โThis isnโt gonna be televised anywhere. Mom and Dad will have to watch this.โโ
There is no denying that Tranโs life is going to change, but sheโs going to have to learn how to navigate her newfound fame. โIโm absolutely scared for what thatโs going to bring,โ she said on the podcast of her career. โI think itโs going to be different. I donโt know what itโs gonna look like when Iโm in the hospital when Iโm working. I think itโs going to be a little crazy for a while.โ

Taking part in a reality TV competition on the scale of The Bachelorette franchise is impressive, but being the leading lady is even more so. It is also worth mentioning that Tran is the first Asian lead of the show, a decision from producers that many people feel is great but took far too long.
Tran’s Instagram page gives us a glimpse into how fans feel about her season. In a promotional photo from The Bachelorette, she poses in a red dress and holds a red rose, symbolic of the men she chooses. She looks gorgeous, and fans have shared their thoughts in the comments. “Only took 23 years for an Asian lead!” a fan wrote.
“Literally started watching the bachelor bc of her canโt wait for her to be the main character,” a comment reads. “SO EXCITED she is so beautiful,” another added.
Jenn Tran’s season is looking like it’s going to be one of the most exciting seasons yet.
