Common‘s recent appearance on The Breakfast Club was another opportunity for the rapper to gush about his woman and their beautiful romance. During the candid interview, the 52-year-old hinted at a possible marriage to Hudson in the future.ย
“If I’m going to get married, it’s to her. That’s simple as that,” he told the host.
The Chicago native continued, clarifying that he didn’t mean to disrespect all the women he had dated. However, Common noted that his relationship with Hudson was healthy and beautiful.ย
“When you’re with somebody who’s from where you’re from, it’s a different kind of connection, too,” the actor said.
Common’s Breakfast Club interview wasn’t the first time he addressed the topic of marriage with Hudson. While speaking to Hoda Kotb on Today in January, he confirmed he was the marrying type. Common told the host he had the capability and capacity and might want to tie the knot someday. When asked if Hudson was “the one,” the actor said he would know when the time was right, as he would hear from God.

Overall, Common said spending time with Hudson back home helped him recharge and release his new album, The Auditorium Vol. 1. It appears Common and Jennifer Hudson are deeply in love.
