Christina Aguilera‘s headline-making these days is mostly about her staggering weight loss, but it was a different story back in April 2022. Rocking up to The Daily Front Row Fashion Awards in Beverly Hills, CA, the 43-year-old singer went edgy in a plunging leather trench coat, wearing nothing beneath it and quickly winding up body-shamed.
Putting her curves on display as she ditched the shirt and went eye-popping, Xtina had users on The Daily Mail lashing out, with some saying that her stylist had failed. Many, however, tormented the Grammy winner over her size. While one fan said that Aguilera’s coat didn’t “fit,” another told her she needed a “bigger size.”

Rocking a vibrant shade of emerald green that popped against her blonde hair, Christina sizzled in a skintight, lapel leather trench with a belted waist detail.
Displaying her curvy figure as she flashed some chest in her waist-flaunting number, the “Beautiful” hitmaker struck red carpet poses as she wore sparkly gray stockings in glitter, and a racy leg slit was upping the ante.
Adding in heels and wearing a high ponytail, Christina coordinated her shimmery green eyeshadow to her coat, accessorizing her outerwear with high heels, plus a chic pendant necklace and earrings. Donning shades, the former rival to Britney Spears blew the camera kisses in some photos, with others showing her in more traditional poses. Makeup and hairstylist Etienne Ortega joined her on the red carpet.
Fans Saying It Doesn’t ‘Fit’
Trying not to shame Aguilera, one user replied: “She could look so beautiful, but her style is ruining it for her. The outfit is very unflattering and her hair is really damaged from the years of bleaching and hair extensions.”
Many made hurtful comments regarding the singer’s weight, although others went for the outfit. “Come on Christina stop dressing trashy. You’re better than that,” one replied. Another asked: “Who told her that green leather was a good look.”
Noting the star’s curvy figure, and not in a respectful way, a further user wrote: “The coat didnt fit was too tight and too long.” Meanwhile, a separate troll suggested that Christina should have picked a “bigger size.”
The tables have turned, though. 2024 sees Aguilera as slender as she was during her 2000s Stripped era, and everyone seems to think she’s taking Ozempic. The pop sensation is reported to have dropped 40 pounds using The Rainbow Diet โ while fans are convinced she’s been using weight loss drug Ozempic, Xtina has never admitted taking it.
Christina has also been making headlines for her Las Vegas Residency this year.
