Salma Hayek was having the time of her life as she danced around in a bathrobe to mark an Instagram milestone last summer, but the May 2023 footage didn’t come without its hazards. Showing off her moves as she shimmied around barefoot while dancing in her fluffy robe, the 57-year-old marked hitting 24 million followers on the platform, but the real headlines came as a result of her rather unfortunate wardrobe malfunction.
Handling her revealing moment like a pro, Salma respected Instagram’s community guidelines by editing her video, blurring all of the naughty bits and delighting fans with her attitude. Salma, whose popularity continues to rise, has since gained over 4 million followers. The Eternals star is now kept tabs on by over 28 million on IG.
Salma Hayek Shows Off Bathrobe Dance On Instagram
Letting loose in a daylit room with hardwood floors, Salma turned the space into a makeshift dancefloor as she shook her hips and boogied around in her bathrobe.
Low-key flaunting her hourglass figure, the Mexico native went cinched with a belted waist, drawing the eye to her curvy hips and flashing her legs. Unfortunately, quite a lot more was being flashed as various moments in the video showed the bathrobe kinda falling open.
Quickly blurring the unsafe parts, Salma kept her video appropriate, also thrilling fans with her happy vibes as she wore her dark hair down.
Censoring Video That Could Have Been Banned
In a caption celebrating her new following, Salma wrote:
“24 million followers, 24 million reasons to smile ๐ Thank you all for joining me on this wild ride! โค๏ธ๐ I cannot contain my excitement & gratitude ๐ P.s happy birthday @samanthalopezs.”
Celebrities these days can get away with showing quite a lot, but Salma didn’t appear willing to mess with Instagram. The actress has since made headlines for celebrating hitting 25 million fans, something she did via an IG reel showing her plunging into an indoor pool while stunning in a bathing suit.
“I canโt believe it, 25 million followers! Thank you soo soo much to every single one of you,” she wrote in July 2023.
More recently, Salma has been in the news for her Paris Olympics action. In late July, and ahead of the 2024 Olympics, the actress posted to Instagram as she carried her torch, going sporty in a white sweatpants and sweater combo as she wrote:
“Yesterday, I had the honor of carrying the Olympic flame, a symbol of light, hope, peace, and unity โพ๏ธ. If you believe in these values, know that you were with me every step of the way.”
Also present at the 2024 Paris Olympics have been celebrities including actress Zendaya, model Kendall Jenner, and singer Ariana Grande.
