Once Human is filled with various Deviants with different abilities that can help you in battle or on your territory. One of the most interesting of these Deviants is Dr. Teddy, a cute brown teddy bear. Despite its cute demeanor, it’s a combat Deviant that provides you with healing while in battle. However, all of that healing comes at the cost of having to find it in the latter Red Sands area.

To find the Dr. Teddy Deviant, you need to have access to the T-Man bounty task titled House on the Hill in Red Sands. The task is one of the many given to you by the television-headed T-Man where you need to fight your way through a sercurement silo and defeat its boss.

The specific securement silo is Securement Silo-Theta. It is recommended that players be at least Level 45 before taking it on. Upon successfully completing it, Dr. Teddy is one of the potential RNG drop rewards obtainable at the end. Considering this, it’s completely possible that you go through the entire silo and never get Dr. Teddy as one of the final rewards. I recommend grabbing a few friends and going through it a few times for a better chance at getting Dr. Teddy without wasting too much time.

I highly recommend going out of your way to find this Deviant as its benefits are one of my absolute favorites in the entire game.

What Does the Dr. Teddy Deviant Do?

Dr. Teddy Deviant has two major skills. They are as follows:

  • Remote Healing – You can use this skill on an ally to revive them for all of their health. Additionally, if that ally is completely downed, Dr. Teddy will revive them instead.
  • Intime Healing – When you summon Dr. Teddy, it will automatically revive any of the downed allies in the area. Dr. Teddy will then periodically heal both you and your allies, restoring 20% of Max HP each time.

To use the Deviant, make space for an additional Securement Unit on your base. After that, walk up to it, press the F key to interact with the unit, and attach it to your cradle. Then, in battle, you can press the E key to summon it.
