Nick Cannon Open To Getting Back Together With Mariah Carey Claims, ‘They Belong Together’

Nick Cannon believes that he and his ex-wife Mariah Carey ‘belong together,’ he is entirely open to the thought of one day getting back together with the All I Want For Christmas hitmaker.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were married from 2008 to 2016 and shared twins, 13-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan. Following the couple’s divorce, during an interview on the It’s Tricky With Raquel Harper podcast, Nick admitted that he didn’t subscribe to the traditional sense of monogamy.

However, the Wild ‘N Out host admits that when it comes to Mariah Carey, getting back together is never off the table, at least as far as he is concerned. Nick joked, “We belong together,” in an interview alongside his We Playin’ Spades cohost Courtney Bee, adding on whether he’d get back with his ex, “Yes, absolutely. Be stupid if I wouldn’t.”

However, Nick Cannon confessed that it was not up to him, stating, “She don’t want me.” But he would always have a love for the singer.

All kidding aside, Nick Cannon claims that his main priority is his 12 children. He explains that his wild blended family life works because all six of the mothers to his 12 kids get along, describing the relationship as ‘amazing.’

“But that’s the thing, I don’t expect them to,” the Masked Singer host added. “I think that’s the thing that people might always think that it would be that. But it’s like everybody lives their own life, before me and after me.”

He continued, “So I think that’s how you keep the peace and everybody moving, like everybody worried about themselves and not worried about what someone else is. As long as the kids are happy and they have the strongest understanding, I think that’s what makes sense. You gotta operate out of that.”

Nick Cannon has a lot to keep him busy, but Mariah Carey has allegedly been single since her December split from longtime boyfriend Brian Tanaka. However, a few unconfirmed dating rumors have been circulating since May that Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz have been spending a lot of time together.

But, so far, neither of the singers has confirmed or denied the dating rumors. Since they both remain single, anything is possible, and according to Life & Style sources, the two have a lot of chemistry and the support of all of their friends. But time will tell if the dating rumors prove accurate and the friendship becomes more serious.
