Showing off her curves in a cut-out, disco ball dress ahead of the weekend, the 55-year-old stepped onto the red carpet for estranged husband Ben Affleck‘s new Unstoppable movie premiere, making headlines for her look but also for her appearance as she files for divorce.
Having ended her two-year marriage to Affleck last month, JLo put on a very confident display, but users seeing the photos on The Daily Mail appeared horrified. Comments poured in fast, with some of the most-liked comments calling the look “inappropriate” and “awful.”

Modeling a sleeveless, glittery dress that fell to the floor, the actress went cut-out down both sides, ditching her undies as she went bra-free for a show-stopping finish. Accenting her bold look with black velvet bows working their way down from her shoulders to her waist and legs, Jennifer flashed as much flesh as possible while in silver metallic heels, sporting her highlighted locks down as she showed her youthful skin.
Sporting a matte makeup layer with silvery eyeshadow and a pale lip, JLo looked decades younger than her years, but nobody was talking about her age-defying beauty in the comments.
Told Dress ‘Inappropriate’ For Her Age
Leading the way in the comments was a fan who gained over 400 likes for saying: “Yikes. Thought she was going to “reconsider her image”. This is a total desperation move and completely inappropriate for her age.”
Also slamming Lopez’s fashion choice was a fan saying: “It seems as if she thinks that everything she wears looks good on her. Evidently no one is around her to disagree.”

JLo posed solo on the red carpet, seemingly supporting Ben Affleck, but she definitely sent the actor daggers in a recent Instagram post. Telling fans that she was “unbothered” and “at peace,” last week, the mom of two appeared to shade her ex, whom she has not been spotted with for over two months.
Also shading JLo’s dress was a fan writing: “She is trying so hard with the dress but unfortunately it doesn’t suit her average height. The dress would have looked so much better on a model and a younger one at that too!”
