Sofia Vergara has been body-shamed as users mock her latest street photos. The sitcom star 52, headed out to lunch in Beverly Hills, CA last month, during which she was photographed by The Daily Mail. Displaying her signature curves, Sofia sizzled in an animal-print dress as she went busty, with the photos showing her looking confident.
While some age-shamed Sofia in the newspaper’s comments, others took a swipe at her shape, saying that she’d gained weight. Sofia, who kicked off her career in the U.S. with modeling in the 1990s, is largely celebrated for her hourglass curves, but these fans only seemed bitter as they tormented her. Fans even failed to comment on chihuahua Amore, who accompanied the Modern Family alum on her outing.

Looking her usual stylish self, Sofia went eye-popping in a figure-hugging dress in racy leopard prints.
Upping the ante with a low neckline, the Colombia native flashed her fierce curves and toned waistline, choosing a summery maxi number with a visible black bra beneath. Keeping trendy in white sneakers, Sofia switched out her signature heels for something more comfortable, also coordinating her white footwear with a cross-body purse.
Wearing her locks down and straight as she carried her small dog, Sofia kept glam with a matte layer of makeup, although few fans commented on her cosmetics.
Fans Saying She Got ‘Fat’ And ‘Thicker’
Over 50 fans agreed when a user shamed Sofia, saying: “Sheโs getting a little thicker around the middle.” Another fan, meanwhile, said that she had gotten “too fat.”
Thinking that Sofia had undergone cosmetic work, a third wrote: “Her face is quite different… I do not understand why women who have so much money don’t picked better surgeons??” This comment gained over 55 upvotes.
Also commenting on Sofia’s shape was a user stating: “It all depends on the dress. With that leopard print she looks she is bursting at the top, not a nice look. Rather trashy.”
Sofia is known for her balanced wellness approach, and she’s even admitted that she hates the gym. In 2013, she said that her workout sessions were “torture,” adding:
