Like many celebrity couples, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s relationship has its flaws. While the two continue showing off PDA in public, behind closed doors, their marriage is being tested. The source of contention is her ex. No, it’s not Scott Disick, but former flame Justin Bieber.
Kardashian and Bieber is a celebrity relationship many are unaware of. Although neither side confirmed a relationship, the two reportedly were briefly involved in 2015.
It’s been nine years since their brief romance and they’ve both moved on. The reality star married Barker in 2022, and in November 2023, they welcomed their son, Rocky. Bieber married Hailey Bieber in 2018, and the couple welcomed their son Jack in August 2024.
But now Kourtney is trying to reach out to her ex, which is creating strife in her marriage.
Travis Barker Doesn’t Want Kourtney Kardashian Spending Time With Justin Bieber
Bieber has been in the news recently because of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking scandal. Old videos have resurfaced of the rap mogul acting inappropriately around a teenage Justin. While the Stay singer hasn’t spoken out about Diddy’s arrest, many are worried the scandal will impact his mental health.
Kourtney is one of the people concerned about Justin’s well-being. The Lemme founder wants to reach out to offer her support, yet her husband is making it difficult.
A source tells In Touch Weekly that Barker’s jealousy is creating issues in their marriage.
“Travis swears he’s not at all threatened by Justin, but he just finds it extremely disrespectful,” the source explained. “Everyone knows [Justin and Kourtney] hooked up, whether Kourtney wants to admit it or not, and just from an ego perspective, Travis can’t handle the idea of people thinking she’s close to him again.”
The insider then revealed that while Barker’s jealousy is annoying, Kardashian has decided to respect her husband’s wishes.
Travis is very possessive of Kourtney and doesn’t want her spending time with anyone else, really let alone a guy she used to have a thing with.
Ultimately, Kourtney is not going to disrespect Travis and go against his wishes, but at the same time, it’s annoying to her. She wishes he would just get over it and act more mature. She has zero interest in Justin romantically. She’s just concerned for him like everyone else is and thinks he could use some support.
With Travis Barker reportedly having his way, Kourtney Kardashian won’t be reaching out to Justin Bieber anytime soon. But like everyone else, she’s hoping for the best for him in the fallout of Diddy’s scandal.
