Elton John has never really cared what others think. He lives his life his way and on his terms. The aging singer reveals that his health has been through the wringer over the past few years. At 77, he admits that not much of him is left after numerous surgeries.
“To be honest with you, there’s not much of me left,” John shared. “I don’t have tonsils, adenoids, or an appendix. Or a prostate. I don’t have a right hip a left knee or a right knee. The only thing left to me is my left hip.”
The singer is quite open when he shares the details of his recent health issues. However, his honesty is not the most shocking thing about him these days. His latest fashion accessory has his fans deeming him as ‘gross.‘
The New York Post writes that Elton John made no bones about showing up to the UK premiere of Never Too Late last week. The singer’s fans cringed when he revealed that his favorite fashion accessory these days is the knee cap he wears around his neck. It didn’t take long before the comments began rolling in.
“So disturbing. He has gone too far this time. But I guess it could have been worse With all the body parts he has lost,” writes one fan. “This guy just needs to quietly disappear and go away. Cringe,” states another. “He needs to get therapy,” a third writes.
Elton John Claims He Doesn’t Think He Will Be Around Much Longer
Over the past few months, Elton John has openly discussed his ongoing failing health and mortality. After everything he has been through, the singer worries that he won’t be around to see his two young sons hit some of the major milestones of their lives.
According toย the Mirror, Elton states,ย “They think about my mortality. They worry about my mortality. Not so much David, but me. (They) love their daddy, so they want me to be around forever, (and) I would love to be around forever.”
Despite his numerous health challenges, Elton John’s determination to spend quality time with his family is truly inspiring. He acknowledges that he may not be around to witness all the milestones in his son’s life, but he is committed to making the most of his time with them.
“I want to see them have children and get married. I don’t think I’m going to be around for that. Who knows? You never know,” admits John. Hopefully, Elton can manage his health and keep what is left of his body intact so he doesn’t continue to weird his fans out with more strange accessories.
