Bronny James is experiencing the reality of being an NBA player. The Los Angeles Lakers were recently out on a long road trip, and Bronny was missing his girlfriend, Parker Whitfield. The rookie left a heartfelt message on social media explaining how much he misses his significant other while he is out on the road. Bronny has gotten the chance to play a few games so far, as well as scoring his first NBA points in Cleveland in a blowout loss against the now 8-0 Cavaliers.
TMZ reports that the purple and gold traveled from L.A. to Phoenix, Toronto, Cleveland, Detroit, and Memphis before finally making it back for a home game against the 76ers. During that time, Bronny James posted a cute picture of himself and Parker Whitfield in front of the Disney castle. The pic was posted to the young man’s Instagram story with a caption that read, “I miss my baby. Love you so much.” However, that is when some fans saw an opportunity to let out some frustrations.
Those fans went in on Bronny as they explained that “he just misses playing regular minutes.” They continued by calling James Jr. the “worst player in the NBA.” The hate Bronny gets stems from his inability to perform at a high level on the court. It started in college when LeBron James’ oldest son struggled to produce on the offensive end. Those same woes have now transferred over to the NBA, and basketball fans are not happy about it.

Those same fans have taken to Twitter to really let Bonny have it.
“Bronny just misses playing regular minutes,” one said.
“Worst player in the NBA,” another wrote.
Finally, one fan said, “Long-distance love can be tough, but it sounds like they’re making it work ” regarding Whitfield and James Jr.’s relationship.
It seems that basketball fans are still upset that Bronny was drafted to begin with.
As for Bronny James and Parker Whitfield, dating rumors first started a while back during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. The two were seen sitting courtside for one of the Team USA men’s basketball games. The couple could be seen sitting fairly close together, and rumors then began to fly.
Bronny James missing Parker Whitfield while he is on the road is something the young man is going to have to learn to deal with if he hopes to continue his professional basketball career. However, he has some great role models in LeBron and Savannah James. Can James Jr. and Whitfield make things work?
