The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe and Melissa Gorga have been down on their luck. The pair first joined the hit Bravo series in Season 3 and stayed until the latest season wrapped in 2024. Throughout their run on the show, the pair fought incessantly with their sister, Teresa Giudice. Ultimately, the fighting became so toxic that the network paused the series, leaving some of the show’s stars out of work.
Since Teresa is Jersey’s biggest name, she’s worked on other projects, like House of Villains and Bravo’s newest series, Making It In Manhattan. However, her brother and sister have been stuck. But it seems like that’s all changing now. News has begun swirling around on social media that Joe and his wife Melissa could be part of the newest season of MTV’s Jersey Shore.
Melissa and Joe Filming With Snooki for Jersey Shore’s Newest Season
According to TMZ, Melissa and Joe Gorga are ready to leave Bravo and head to MTV.
The Jersey reality stars were spotted filming at a popular nightclub in New York City in early November 2024. Thanks to a clip someone shared of the night, viewers could see Melissa and Joe chatting with Snooki. Cameras were clearly in attendance and capturing footage of the night for some production. Their conversation was short, and after exchanging pleasantries, the three parted ways. But there could still be more to the story. TMZ also reported that Danielle Cabral—the RHONJ cast member suspended for hitting Jennifer Aydin with a glass—was also in attendance. Could this be the Jersey cross-over of the century?
It’s still unclear what the group was filming for. However, with RHONJ on hiatus, some fans are confident it’s for Jersey Shore’s newest season.
But not all watchers are excited about the news. After a popular account shared the clip online, Gorga haters jumped in the comments to bash them. “Ew, don’t let them ruin Jersey Shore,” one user wrote on X/Twitter. Another user also commented, trashing Joe for being a “bitch boy” who only films reality TV to make his wife’s storylines interesting. Several other netizens also shared their opinions, with the majority calling the Gorgas extremely “thirsty.”
Is There a Possibility Teresa Will Film With Her Family Again?
Since Season 14 of RHONJ wrapped, the network has made it clear that it will reboot the show. After years of hearing complaints about the women and their dynamics, Andy Cohen confirmed that the Bravo team was planning to make serious changes. In the summer, the executive producer told a disgruntled fan that they were in the beginning stages of deciding how to move forward. “We’re going to reboot it. We’re going to do something different,” he said.
One of Jersey’s biggest stars, Jennifer, recently spoke about the show and said that no matter what Bravo does, they can’t fire Teresa. She continued, saying that because the OG has been there since the beginning, it wouldn’t be wise to let her go. “It takes time to get invested in new characters,” she said. “I don’t think the show could be Housewives of New Jersey with a few of us and not Teresa.”
Although Teresa hasn’t spoken about the show being on pause recently, she has made it clear that she won’t work with Melissa again. “Even if I get offered a job with her, I’m not doing it,” she said in another interview. “That ship has sailed,” she added. “So if anyone out there thinks we’ll do a project together—forget it.”
