Sources tell The Daily Mail that Jennifer Garner was less than thrilled when Jennifer Lopez’s sister, Lynda, showed up at Yale to visit her daughter Violet. Lopez and Affleck definitely blended their family during their two-year marriage. However, Garner now reportedly wants to cut ties with the singer.
“JLo getting close to Violet felt odd to Jen and then Lynda popping up at Violet’s school,” a source tells the outlet. “Jen’s loyalty is to the father of her kids—Ben—and their children. Because they love JLo, Jen would never badmouth her or speak negatively about her. Everyone knows that if JLo wanted to spend time with her children aside from Violet, it would have to go through Jen.”
The source went on to reveal that Garner no longer wants to have any contact with Lopez. Now that Ben and JLo have ended their marriage, there is no reason for the two to be friends. Unless they need to talk about their children, who have become close friends, Garner would reportedly rather keep her distance.

“Why would Garner keep in touch? They weren’t best friends. She is a nice person who welcomed his new wife to the family. After that she doesn’t need to have coffee. Just let the kids keep in touch with the extended family they got to know,” one person commented.
“JG wants nothing to do with JLo. Why would she? They are not on the same level,” another said.
It was previously reported that Jennifer Lopez isn’t backing down when it comes to keeping both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner in her life. JLo is allegedly trying to plan a big blended family holiday celebration with her ex-husband and his former wife.

Lopez is reported to be claiming that she doesn’t want their kids’ relationships to suffer because of their divorce, and Affleck is allegedly having a tough time arguing with that logic.
