After reaching Camp Icarus during the Dead Frequency mission, you will start the Like a Moth To a Flame quest in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. You must decide whether to side with Kryvenko or Senkevych in this main mission. While both routes will progress the story, one is better. You must also find three psi-antennas spread around the base. While the game marks their location, they are still somewhat hidden due to their plain coloring.
How To Complete Like a Moth To a Flame Quest in Stalker 2
Once you reach Camp Icarus and enter the main building, you can find Dr. Kryvenko and Captain Senkevych arguing with each other. If you decide to speak with Senkevych, he will tell you that he believes that Kryvenko is the culprit, and he will ask you to destroy three psi-antenna. On the other hand, Kryvenko will tell you to transfer the data from the three devices to a USB stick.
I recommend siding with Dr. Kryvenko in the Like a Moth To a Flame quest in Stalker 2. This route is much shorter and only requires finding the three psi-antenna. On the other hand, the Senkevych route will give extra objectives that you need to complete later.
Where To Find Three Psi-Antenna
The first psi-antenna in the Like a Moth To a Flame quest can be found in the southwestern section of Camp Icarus. You don’t need to enter the building since it’ll be locked and guarded. Just head to the right side of the building, and you will find some soldiers near a pile of sandbags. The psi-antenna is set right next to them.
You need to climb up a tall tower to find the second psi-antenna on the northeastern side. The structure inside is already crumbling, so you need to do some platforming to reach the ladders. Once you reach the top, you can find a soldier and the device.
The third psi-antenna is the hardest to find in the Like a Moth To a Flame quest. You need to continue heading northeast until you find a small building. There will be a zombie nearby that you must kill. The device is placed on the roof, and you must climb one of the large pipes to reach it.
How To Explore Saturn Bunker Area
Once you have the data, you can return it to the doctor, and he will tell you the location of the source of the psi-attack in Icarus Camp. You must enter the locked area in the Like a Moth To a Flame quest.
- Enter through the door with a soldier standing beside it.
- Open the silver door illuminated with light.
- Head downstairs and go down the ladder.
- Avoid the lightning anomaly and enter the door to your right.
- Pass through the hallway to reach the psi-beacon.
Since you’re working with the doctor, you must turn off the device. If you follow the captain’s route, you must destroy the psi-beacon. There seems to be a bug here since you can only break this device using a knife instead of a gun. Reporting back to the doctor will end the Like a Moth To a Flame quest, but you can now continue the Dead Frequency mission.
