Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce officially celebrated their first Thanksgiving together last week. The couple, who have been dating since the summer of 2023 weren’t able to spend the holiday together last year. So, this was a special occasion for them. Of course, they included both of their families in the festivities and sources reveal that it was a very successful dinner between the Swift and Kelce broods. Of course, fans expected nothing less.
According to a report by People Magazine, Taylor Swift and her parents, Scott and Andrea, hosted Thanksgiving dinner in Nashville. Of course, Travis Kelce was in attendance. However, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end also brought along his parents, Ed and Donna, as well as his big brother, Jason Kelce and his family.
“Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving together with their families,” the insider dished. “It’s the first Thanksgiving they celebrated together. Taylor and her family were excited to host the Kelces this year. Jason was there with his family and kids too. It was very festive and special.”
The big family dinner took place before Thanksgiving so that Travis could head back to Kansas City and prepare for his Friday afternoon game. Of course, the rest of the family followed suit and Taylor was in attendance to watch her man and his Super Bowl champion teammates narrowly squeak out a victory.
Taylor Swift Made Thanksgiving Special for Travis Kelce’s Family
Just days before the holiday, Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce, was asked about her holiday plans. She revealed that she thought they would have a small family gathering. However, she hinted that Taylor may not be in attendance because of her very busy schedule. Some fans now believe that Donna was redirecting in hopes of having a private family gathering with her loved ones.
“I seriously just love how much the Kelce family loves Taylor. They seem to just adore her family too. And of course, Taylor has merged perfectly into the Kelce family and into Travโs world too,” one person stated on Reddit.
“Surely, no one still believes this is a publicity stunt. No one would go to such lengths and involve their families so deeply,” said another.
“So nice to include Jason and his family, too. His wife is pregnant with their fourth child, so it must have be great for her to have an insane home-style Thanksgiving dinner, in someone else’s house, without all the prep and clean-up work! You know that she sent them home with leftovers,” a third person revealed.
All the while, Taylor Swift has been very busy. She’s currently on the final stretch of her Eras tour. She’s set to finish up her final performances later this year just before the Christmas holiday. She’ll likely return to spend the holidays with her family, as well as Travis Kelce. Fans are expecting to see the singer attend more of Kelce’s NFL games following the end of the tour.
Of course, the Chiefs are looking to head back to the Super Bowl again this year. Last year, Swift was there to watch her boyfriend win the big game. They later jetted off to Las Vegas together to celebrate the victory.
