Her words come days after her beau confirmed the birth of their daughter, Aurora Raina Urker.
The doting dad shared the big news on Instagram on Wednesday, January 1. He dropped a heartwarming picture of the new parents at the hospital, cradling their newborn child. In the image, Blanchard was lying on the bed, smiling fondly at her daughter, whose face was hidden. Urker was hunched over them as he touched his baby girl.
As for how the couple came up with their daughter’s unique name, Blanchard spilled the tea in December 2024. She revealed the name popped up during her first relationship with Urker. The pair dated while she was behind bars for her role in the 2015 murder of her mother. They were previously engaged before splitting and reconnecting months after Blanchard filed for divorce from her ex-husband, Ryan Anderson.
“Back whenever Ken and I were together seven years ago, both of us have a fascination with the Northern Lights, and the proper term is the Aurora Borealis,” Blanchard recalled. She explained to PEOPLE that they wrote each other’s future child’s name in 2018 and coincidentally chose Aurora.
