One Texas couple decided to take special precautions for their wedding ceremony and requested that it be held for adults only; however, one guest strongly objected. A particular father thought it only fair for his child to also be present for the ceremony, while his baby decided to make a scene — by screaming. From when the bride walked the aisle to when the vows were being made, the crying got worse until the parent was finally told to take their unruly child out.
The shameful dad of the crying baby refused to take the child out of the wedding ceremony, arguing that he’d “driven 10 hours to see it.” Needless to say, thousands of internet users collectively exclaim in protest about how they would never stand for such a disrespectful individual. “Are people not embarrassed anymore?” remarked a commenter on TikTok. “Confirming why our wedding is child free 😂,” chimed in another, with dozens of others agreeing that their ceremonies would most certainly be only for adults. “No longer friends. No contact family member. New level unlocked,” comically remarked a third.
“Why did nobody make them leave? So incredibly inconsiderate,” commented a Redditor in disbelief. A reply clarified that the rude parent was asked to take their child out but refused because he felt justified by his travel time on the road. “Pretty sure you have arms for grabbin and legs for draggin,” chuckled the replier. Speaking of replies, one by OP indicates that the parent of the screaming baby was a relative: “Was it family? To no one’s surprise, many believe the individual with the disruptive baby was probably never invited to any events or ceremonies again, especially child-free ones.
