She is best known as the face of Cover Girl makeup and as one of Sports Illustrated‘s most popular swimsuit models appearing on the cover for three consecutive years from 1979-1981.
Christie has not only experienced a long and successful modeling career, but she has also enjoyed an equally successful career in acting in television and film. In 2011, Brinkley made her stage debut as Roxie Hart in the long-running musical Chicago for 182 stage performances.
