Episode: Heresy Act 2 Launches on March 11, 2025
Let’s get the release date out of the way first. Episode: Heresy Act 2 will be available on Destiny 2 on March 11. There are many activities coming with it, including the Court of Blades, Guardian Games, four new seasonal weapons, and many more things. Below, we’ll break down every one of these announcements, so you can start planning what to do once this new update goes live. Also, if you want to watch the whole live stream, we’ve attached it above.

The one thing that caught everyone’s attention is Court of Blades. This activity is a fresh take on the Court of Oryx from Destiny 1. If you’re a new Guardian, this mode will offer players short matches of roughly 10 minutes that will feature a few roguelike mechanics. This is an excellent addition, especially for those who want faster-paced activities that still include a layer of replayability. The live stream showed statues, which contain boons and challenges for Guardians, that will reward them in different ways throughout their run. In truth, this is an excellent addition, especially for new players who might feel other content is a bit daunting to get into.
