Michigan woman Dee Warner may finally get some justice after her body was found in a fertilizer tank three years following her mysterious disappearance. After the remains of the wife and mother were discovered, her family members, including husband Dale Warner and stepson Jaron Warner, were arrested. Dale’s trial has been set for September 2025 after he was charged with murder and tampering with evidence. Meanwhile, Jaron was arraigned on charges of tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact and released on $125,000 bond.
According to The Independent, Dee Warner was a 52-year-old mother of five. She ran a trucking company near Detroit, Michigan. Dee was last seen on April 25, 2021 in the morning hours. Sources claim that Dale Warner planned to discuss divorce at the time of her disappearance.
The night that Dee was missing, she and Dale allegedly had a business dispute along with a couple of her employees. Dale has since confessed to arguing with his late wife about finances and infidelity in their marriage. However, police claim that his former statements about the situation were inconsistent.
Family of Michigan Woman Found In Tank Faces Murder Charges
Three years after her death, Dee Warner’s remains were found in an anhydrous tank that was hidden inside a barn. The barn, which was owned by Dale Warner, was about four miles from the couple’s Michigan home. Although, searches were conducted for Dee on Dale’s properties, it wasn’t until the victim’s brother, Greg Hardy, said he asked police to look in the tanks because he believed Dee’s body may have been hidden there, per Click on Detroit.
“In the dark of night, in a building that had no cameras — slide her body in there, put the end cap back on it, and weld it completely shut,” Hardy told the outlet. “Then attach that to a chassis, paint it, even have the gall to put his logo on it to make it look like it was normal, and then took it and stored it with other tanks so it would look like it was just another one of the fleet.”
Dee’s body was found when an X-ray of the tank was taken. However, there were no chemicals inside what Hardy calls his sister’s “steel tomb.” Hardy went on to speak highly of his sister, calling her a “very strong person.” He also claimed that she probably died because she believed she could “fix” Dale.
