They say that travel makes one modest, and while that old adage may ring true, it can also prove to be a stressful experience for many. After all, when traveling, you’ll often be faced with the unexpected, with different languages and cultures that sometimes take a little bit of time adjusting to. With that in mind, a Minnesota woman was caught having an emotional meltdown during her flight. The footage was captured by a passenger sitting close by who witnessed the chaotic scene.
The 32-second clip is recorded from the perspective of a passenger sat on the same row as the irate woman. It’s unclear what caused the altercation, as we don’t see the buildup before the incident takes place. However, the lady begins her tirade with a mention of her “child” who is an “11-year-old.” Straightaway, it’s clear that the woman is visibly upset about something. In the aisle stood in front of her are a pair of flight attendants who’re attempting to calmly reason with the woman and calm her down.
Screaming at the cabin attendees, the woman yells, “My child is a f***ing 11-year-old!” before uttering words that are incomprehensible. The next part, however, is clear as day. “F*** you! F*** you! F*** you! F*** you!” the woman yells, directing her abuse at other passengers onboard the plane that are seated in the other row. She also directs her verbal abuse at the flight attendants as well.
“Stop. Stop.” declares the male attendee, holding up his hands with his palms faced outward in a stop gesture. “I don’t even care. No, I don’t care. They don’t care. You know what, I’m from Minnesota. I have done everything that I need to do.” the woman pleads angrily. To this, the female flight attendee looks over to another member of the crew, saying, “We’re gonna need to get her off first.“
“Yes! F*** you!” the furious lady screams at someone out of frame, giving them the finger. Peculiarly, the woman then calmly repeats the words, “I’m from Minnesota.” Though it’s not been confirmed yet, it appears that the lady may be intoxicated as her speech is slightly slurred and difficult to understand.
With the clip circulating online, social media users were shocked at the woman’s rude and inconsiderate behavior. One Redditor penned, “I’m from Minnesota too, but I know how to behave myself in public” with another jokingly adding, “The next sound you hear is the first seven feet of duct tape being unspooled“. Meanwhile, a third commenter chimed in with, “Dont mix anxiety pills and alcohol“.
It’s currently unclear what flight this incident occurred on or whether the woman was charged for the in-flight disturbance. However, one thing is for sure: She’s from Minnesota.
