A Georgia Man on a Florida-bound American Airlines flight was arrested after he bit off a little more than he could chew with some of the crew members. 31-year-old Delange Augustin was arrested after a Monday night brawl on an airplane. The craziest part is what the Georgia native would swallow before launching himself into battle. The seemingly religious man would swallow some rosary beads before throwing some hands that night.

According to Fox News, only minutes after takeoff, an attendant seemingly believed that Delange Augistin was having some kind of medical emergency. Augustin could be heard making strange noises, as well as stomping his feet, and experiencing the shakes. When the flight attendant approached Mr. Augustin’s chair, the man reportedly turned and kicked the attendant in the chest with both legs. This was without a doubt quite shocking. Especially considering the fact it was a pretty low-key flight.

The American Airlines flight 4262 was made up of only eight passengers and five crew members. Delange was traveling from Savannah, Georgia to Miami, Florida. When Delange and his sister Medjina Augustin were asked why they were on the plane, they stated that it was to “flee religious attacks of spiritual nature.” However, according to some fans, they are happy that “They can now fight even on the ground only.“

Social media was then blowing up regarding the fight in the sky.

“Staff need stun guns,” one said.

“Bar them from flying anywhere,” wrote another.

Finally, another said, “These two need to be banned from airline flights.”

It seems a lot of users agree that these siblings should not be flying again

When word about the kick got back to the aircraft’s pilots, it was decided to turn the plane around and head back to Savannah, Georgia. Delange then allegedly started to punch and kick the seat in front of him until it collapsed. The FBI special agent in charge of the investigation stated Augustin would calm down very briefly until the flight ended. Then he went for the gate. However, all passengers were asked to remain in their seats. Although the Augustin’s would not listen, Delange grabbed his sister and stormed to the front of the plane.

Once Delange Augustin was in the plane’s galley, he would begin to throw punches as hard as he could, striking a flight attendant on her upper arm. All of this happened while he was still holding on for dear life to his sister. Once he was finally taken down by a group of airport security, it was discovered that the Georgia Man had swallowed a lot of rosary beads. While Delange was in the hospital for the beads, his sister confirmed he had eaten them because “they are a weapon of strength.” Police were not shocked, though, as the two were also spouting their crazy ideals on the flight. Augustin now faces a charge of interference with flight crew members. It seems this Georgia man won’t be in the air again anytime soon.
