This video doesn’t disappoint because it’s a cute scene where a dog meets Tigger at Disneyland, California. However, users on Reddit did not react well to this video, and some commented angrily. I don’t understand how someone can get so upset with a cute video of a dog.
Redditor InGeekiTrust shared on r/TikTokCringe, a video of seaver31’s TikTok. The video shows a golden retriever wearing a princess dress and Mickey ears waiting in front of a hallway where several employees were coming. But out of the Disneyland California employees, Tigger suddenly came out to meet this little dog and gave her many cuddles.
At first, the dog was tranquil, but by the end of the video, she was demanding more petting on her stomach. From the video alone, it seemed like a nice moment, but Reddit users reacted negatively. First, because the video said the dog was a service animal, she shouldn’t be in costume and behave better, and that is why many assumed the owners lied. Others commented that we shouldn’t humanize pets and that they don’t understand “having a favorite character.”
Honestly, this dog is probably nervous AF haha.

They don’t associate with characters like we do, so a larger version of… it’s toy? would probably be meaningless to the pooch.
I’m all for cute moments, but do this for your kid. It’s incredibly unlikely to be enriching for your dog lol.
So not only do people fake service dogs to circumvent regulations, but they’re also probably just stressing their dog out for clout.

In the original video, there isn’t a text saying the dog was a service animal but a puppy enjoying the park. In addition, the comments on melissakirk717’s video were much more positive and heartwarming for the golden. Some comments said they would cry tears of tenderness to see that the dog was so happy. Even so, many videos on social networks exemplify how some animals enjoy things like toys, “makeup,” or movie characters. Maybe not like humans, but some can show similar patterns.
