In fact, getting separated and lost in an amusement park is quite a common occurrence, and the prevailing wisdom is to have a predetermined meeting spot if things go awry. Needless to say, having an extra plan of action when you’ve lost your way is always a good call, and this couple’s clever approach is pretty smart. Sharing their idea on social media, the couple crafted a special headband that features a large yellow arrow for the lady to wear, so that it makes it way easier to spot her in a crowd of people. Stroke of genius, right?
The brief 12-second clip opens with the accompanying text: “How to not lose your partner in a crowd” and sees the young twosome preparing to make their way into Universal Studios Hollywood. You can see the girl putting on some sort of headband, but it’s no regular headgear. Instead, it features a large yellow arrow, pointing down, much akin to an icon that you’d find in a video game. With a wee smile, the footage quickly cuts to them wandering around in the crowds of people attending the California theme park.
Instead of the girl getting lost in the crowds of people, however, she can be clearly seen thanks to her handy piece of arrow-shaped headgear. Helping to make the clip even more cute and wholesome is the accompanying Zelda music, which is super chirpy and bright, and leans into the whole video game feel of the video.
It’s safe to say that the world has been left in awe thanks to the ingenuity on display by the cutesy couple. One Redditor shared, “Thatโs actually cute lol. The arrow behind the bookcase was perfect.” while another chipped in with, “This is hilarious!” Elsewhere, a third commenter weighed in with a short and sweet, “This is genius.” Lastly, a fourth user added, “Didn’t even realize that was a physical arrow until I read the comments lmfao“
Frankly, that last comment hits the nail on the head, as it took me a few moments to realise what was going on in the video. Seriously, the arrow-shaped headpiece is so well made, that it actually looks like it’s been computer generated. Kudos, guys!
