Andrew Tate‘s ex-girlfriend, Brianna Stern, files a lawsuit against him, alleging sexual assault and battery, but his legal team dismisses the accuser. The self-acclaimed king of toxic masculinity and his brother, Tristan Tate, have been neck-deep in legal woes in multiple countries. In 2022, they were arrested in Romania for their alleged involvement in human trafficking, including minors, sexual intercourse with a minor, and money laundering. They also face rape charges in the country and are under investigation for forming criminal organization that engage in these activities. Additionally, four women in the UK have accused the Tate brothers of sexual violence between 2013 and 2015, adding to their growing list of rape and sex trafficking allegations.
The latest accuser on the line is Andrew Tate’s ex-girlfriend Brian Stern, who allegedly dated the social media personality for ten months. Brianna detailed the intense physical and emotional abuse she endured throughout the relationship, citing an instance that happened at A Beverly Hills Motel. In the lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, Stern recounted joining her then-boyfriend at the motel for what began as a consensual sexual encounter.

However, things took a dark turn when Tate began verbally degrading her, “as he routinely did.” Stern admitted that this time, he came on more “aggressive and violent,” and soon started choking her. At that point, she cried and pleaded for him to stop, but he tightened his hold instead, causing her to nearly lose consciousness. The lawsuit continued,
“While doing so, Tate told her repeatedly that if she ever crossed him, he was going to kill her.”
Brianna Stern also highlighted patterns of emotional abuse and grooming, which commenced after she met the 38-year-old in 2024 during a trip to Romania for a modeling job. During their 10-month relationship, Tate constantly demeaned her with words like “idiot,” also labeling her as his “property.”
Notably, Stern has explained the reason behind her decision to file a lawsuit against Andrew Tate and go public with her story. In a recent Instagram post, the model admitted she considered staying silent and letting her alleged abuser go free because she felt scared and found it hard to accept she was being abused. However, her need to be heard soon prevailed, prompting her to step forward and speak her truth.
Netizens have rallied behind Stern, commending her bravery for speaking out, while condemning Tate’s abuse. Many fans also raised questions about Tate’s sexuality, insisting his track record of “abuse” suggested he wasn’t into women, but simply used them for show. Reacting, one Redditor wrote,
“Real men don’t have a need to assault women to get sex. They win them with kindness and romance, not violence.”
Another wrote,
“I have a theory that men who behave like this towards women are actually struggling with homosexual identity or something.”
A third concluded,
“That this piece of garbage, Andrew Tate, isn’t rotting in prison, is proof that justice isn’t fair.”
Tate’s Attorney Hit Back at Lawsuit
The Model’s account has also revived calls for Andrew Tate and his brother to face the full brunt of the law for their long list of offences. Reacting to Brianna Stern’s lawsuit, Andrew Tate’s lawyer Joseph McBride released a statement accusing the scorned ex-girlfriend of attempting a ‘blatant cash grab.” He noted that his client “firmly denies” all allegations and they stood ready to “defend Andrew fiercely” in court, and expose “this baseless scheme.” He added,
“Instead of seeking a private resolution, Ms Stern has chosen to air her false claims in the press, revealing her true motives: money and attention, not justice.”
Andrew Tate’s attorney also took a jab at Brianna Stern’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, describing him as a “lowlife bottom feeder.” Notably, Buzbee is the high-profile lawyer representing most of disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sexual assault victims, and has been accused of extortion by both Jazy Z and Diddy’s legal teams.
