Even if we don’t want to hear about them, Tesla vehicles are, sadly, still the talk of the town. They become an even bigger topic of conversation when irresponsible people are behind the wheel. A recent video surfaced online showing a careless Tesla driver in Austin, Texas, who was speeding inside a residential area and caused an accident. Fortunately, no one suffered major injuries, and only the vehicles were damaged. Still, it’s sad to see someone like this behind the wheel.
Redditor No-Context-7205 shared the Austin subreddit video where a Tesla driver causes an accident. The footage shows Tesla driving at high speeds in a residential area and overtaking another vehicle. However, the one inside the Tesla didn’t realize a car was coming down that lane, which led to a collision. The person who recorded the clip said, “Thankfully, the people in the other car were fine.” Also, they added, “The kid driving didn’t apologize at first and just kept saying, I didn’t mean to.” The OP claims this annoyed everyone at the scene. They also state the Tesla driver was not intoxicated, and they only seemed “stupid.”
It is uncertain what happened after the accident. Whether authorities arrived or not is still a mystery. However, we imagine they did. As you can see, the victim’s car suffered a lot of damage, almost destroying its entire front.
As you can expect, many Austin citizens had some opinions toward the reckless driver.
“Holy sh*t that kid was flying down that road. Golly.” – lockdown36 via Reddit.
“Should be jailed driving like that.” – bronzerabbitartifact via Reddit.
Also, the OP claims they stuck around to help the victims. They even mention that they sent the footage to help the affected drivers.
Again, what happened with the one who caused the accident is uncertain, but many hope they got a well-deserved punishment. While everyone was fortunate to leave the collision unscathed, not every accident is the same. Hopefully, the authorities will take action to fix this problem and help the affected people.
