A woman in New York is showing off what she got her eleven children for Easter. The TikToker, who goes by the name The Dougherty Dozen on the social media platform, had the internet dropping its collective jaws as she revealed everything she bought her big brood for the upcoming holiday. While there were definitely some staples like bubbles and candy, other basket items included money, clothes, and other lavish gifts.
In her TikTok video, the Dougherty mom shared video clips of herself shopping at several stores to fill out her eleven children’s Easter baskets. Her first stop was Dollar Tree, where she bought them things such as jump ropes, bubbles, Tootsie Roll banks, marshmallow eggs, and colorful plastic bins to use as their baskets.
The New York woman then moved on to Five Below, where she purchased each of the kids a soft sherpa blanket. She then headed to Walmart, where she picked out Prime drinks for all of them, chocolate bunnies, other miscellaneous candies, and five dozen eggs for coloring. She also grabbed 250 pre-filled plastic Easter eggs to hide for the children’s egg hunt.
The Doherty Dozen matriach also went to Dick’s Sporting Goods to pick out a pair of Crocs for all of the kids. She also revealed that she shopped online to get matching family bathing suits and Easter outfits for each of the eleven children.
New York Woman Goes Over The Top For 11 Children’s Easter Baskets
Just when fans thought that the Easter haul was over, the NYC mama kept going with maybe the most surprising piece of the puzzle. She told fans that she stopped by the bank on her way home from shopping to get some cash for the special “golden eggs.” However, it was just a few bucks.
She showed that she had eleven $100 bills, eleven $50 bills, and eleven $20 bills, meaning that each child would also seemingly be receiving $170 on top of the rest of their gifts.
Fans had a lot of opinions about the massive Easter haul, and they didn’t hesitate to share them.
“Oh so you rich rich?” one person commented.
“5 dozen eggs? IN THIS ECONOMY?” another wrote.
“They better be grateful,” a third person stated.
“$20,000 later. Happy Easter,” a fourth comment read.
“This is excessive,” quipped another social media user.
It appears that this New York family is about to have a fun-filled Easter full of egg hunts, candy-eating, and figuring out what they’re going to spend that cash on.
