In yet another situation of careless drivers ruining other people’s days, we have a hit-and-run incident in Dallas, Texas. However, the “run” part might not come to fruition, as many people in the city’s subreddit are trying to come together to find the one responsible. While the evidence isn’t the clearest out there, and finding the driver might seem like diving into a haystack to grab a needle, at least citizens are trying to locate the perpetrator to hopefully stop them from wreaking more havoc in the streets.
Embarrassed_Trade10 is the Redditor who shared the set of pictures regarding the hit-and-run incident in Dallas. According to them, it happened on the I-35. The OP said, “If you were the girl who was hit and run by the girl with her foot out the window in a white Kia sedan this morning (7:30 am), send me a pm and I can send pics for your insurance.“
While the pictures the OP took aren’t the best, they are at least helpful enough to try to locate the perpetrator. Furthermore, the fact that there’s an actual location and a vehicle description should narrow things down for the authorities, assuming the victim wants to press charges and follow up with the situation.
In the post, many shared a few tips on how to safeguard yourself in case something like this happens.
“Don’t take photos if this happens. Get a video with a look at the vehicle that hit you while loudly, and clearly saying identifying features as well as the license plate so later you can reference it.” – vetheros37 via Reddit.
The above statement might seem overkill, but many drivers usually force us to go to such extremes. Many even recommend having a dashcam at all times because you never know if you’ll be the victim or will be able to help someone in need, such as the OP’s case.
Many Dallas citizens are trying to help in the subreddit. Hopefully, we’ll discover the person behind this incident soon.
