New York Woman Shreds Bank of America Debit Card Into Pieces Because She Doesn’t ‘Want To Deposit With The Devil’

Her belief, her choice

A New York woman is standing on her religious beliefs and dissociating herself from anything connected with the devil — even if that connection is her debit card! The influencer took to destroying her debit card, which, according to her, had the mark of the beast. The influencer shared on her TikTok that she got a new debit card from the Bank of America. However, when she received the card, it had 666 as its CVV code.

Moments later, the clip transitioned to show a photo of the card shredded to bits, as the TikToker stated why she destroyed the card. She said, “I do not want to deposit with the devil. I do not want to withdraw witchcraft.”

i would’ve thought that any repeating numbers would be off limits anyways bc it’s easier to guess 🤔 #hehe #no

While the New York resident acknowledged that not everyone is a Christian, she advised that banks should be wary about certain numbers. She ended the clip by saying, “If you believe there’s evil in this world, there has to be a source of that evil.”

In no time, the video amassed attention from netizens, with several reacting to it. “I don’t blame you. Not today, Satan,” joked one netizen. Another observer questioned the influencer’s faith, writing, “If you’re in Christ, how can you be afraid of some innocuous numbers?”

The observer continued with a sermon on the Christian power, to which the influencer replied, lengthily explaining her belief. She wrote, “I never said I was afraid. However, I don’t want to see this number every day. We are called to walk in holiness and righteousness.”

The woman added, “Why would I keep the mark of the beast on my debit card? The devil is always on the prowl. Spirits are real.” A third person joked about the video, “Lol, this is a misunderstanding of the numbers, but it’s hilarious.”

The woman’s belief about the number 666 is not far-fetched, as it has become a popular belief that it signifies the mark of the beast. The number of the beast has its source in the bible.

The book of Revelation 13:18 reads thus, “This calls for wisdom: let anyone with understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number for a person. Its number is six hundred sixty-six.”

The same book described the beast as a “supernatural demonic creature that arises from the abyss.” A vision revealed that the beast ruled the world, and for people to trade, they had to be branded with the name of the beast or the number.

Whether or not the mark of the beast is a myth or truth, everyone is entitled to their beliefs.
