Miley Cyrus didn’t receive the best feedback in early June as she turned heads in a daring dress. Enjoying the warm weather in New York City, the “Flowers” singer braved a see-through finish while modeling a barely there dress, showing off her curves in a black, Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress.
Leaving little to the imagination while wearing nothing underneath her sheer gown, Miley displayed her tattoos and sculpted muscles while promoting her latest beats, and talk was definitely more about the dress than her Something Beautiful album. Miley is back with a 2025 EP just two years after the smash-hit success of her Endless Summer Vacation album. Fans, who trashed Miley on account of her body ink, also raised eyebrows over how much skin she was showing. One even told the blonde to “put it away.”

Flaunting the results of her workout sessions, Miley stunned in a sleeveless, wispy gown with silky, gauze-like fabrics.
Looking elegant as she put on a feminine display, the Grammy winner opted for a low neckline with an open-chested finish, adding a horizontal neck strip that accentuated her chest. Going figure-hugging while highlighting her slim waist and killer hips, Miley rocked a floor-length number, going slinky and with a slight train, adding a red carpet finish. The singer, who posted her look on Instagram and earned over 700,000 likes for it, added statement shades and Tom Ford heels, completing her glamorous look with a chignon bun hairdo.
In paparazzi photos posted by The Daily Mail, Miley flashed a black pair of briefs beneath her dress, adding discreet jewelry and a warming layer of makeup. The share quickly earned a celebrity like from SKIMS mogul Kim Kardashian.
Not Her First Skin-Baring Look
While one fan called Miley “sooooo trailer park,” another asked: “Who is telling these stars that dressing like this is actually a good look.” A third jumped in telling Miley to “put it away.”
They added: “You’re trying too hard to be outrageous.” The comments come in the wake of Miley largely receiving positive reviews for her 2025 fashion era as she ushers in a more demure vibe, complete with slightly darker hair. In May, she graced the Met Gala red carpet in custom ALAIA, also posing backstage in a logo towel from the French brand. Miley has, in fact, worn so much ALAIA of late, fans are beginning to wonder if she’s about to announce a brand deal.
In 2021, Miley was signed to Gucci as a fragrance face and has since gone on to promote the Italian brand’s clothing. She is also an ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana eyewear.
