New York Delivery Man Massages His ‘Disgusting’ Bare Foot Before Delivering Pizza: ‘Uber Feets’

So gross

If the iconic “Number 15: Burger King foot lettuce” didn’t disturb you enough, a New York City Uber Eats driver has made the internet’s appetite go away with his ‘special touch.’ While waiting to deliver pizza, the man can be seen sitting on a chair, looking at his phone โ€” while caressing his bare foot. The one who recorded and uploaded the video of the foot-massaging man gave him the lovely name “Uber Feet Scratcher.” Needless to say, everyone thought such behavior was utterly nasty.

“The idea of a guy finger f***ing his toes right before handling my food is disgusting,” remarked a Reddit user. “There should be a level of decency people have in public, especially when handling othersโ€™ food ordersโ€ฆit shouldnโ€™t be this hard to just be a normal ass person with common sense.” Another disturbed person chimed in, “This is the clip that’s making me uninstall just eat. I was sick beyond belief last week from food I’d ordered.” “Uber Feets,” quipped a third. “I’m sure there’s an audience for that,” laughed a response.

While many criticized the Uber Eats man for rubbing his feet and toes before making a delivery, many others pointed out how oblivious he appeared to the fact that what he was doing was wrong. A slew of online users believe that it’s likely he’s just acting normal from wherever he’s originally from. “They think they back in their country ๐Ÿคฎ,” reads a TikTok comment. “Iโ€™m more upset that heโ€™s completely oblivious to everything around him and just flashes his phone at the guy behind the counter,” agrees another.

Plenty of online users claim that this sort of careless delivery person is why they would never want a random stranger to deliver their food. There’s no telling where said person’s hands have been or if they’ve washed before handling food, even if it’s been packaged. Hopefully, Uber Eats and other delivery services will raise their standards for hiring and at least enforce some regulations regarding cleanliness.
