Arizona Customer Gets Surprise Police Delivery After Grubhub Arrest: ‘PROTECT and SERVE’

At least she got her pizza

When you order food from DoorDash or Grubhub, for example, you may have a few ideas as to what could go wrong. The delivery guy might eat your food or it might never be delivered. These are easy things to predict. What an Arizona customer didn’t predict is that her food would be delivered in a unique way. After ordering pizza from Grubhub, a woman was waiting patiently for her order to arrive. When it finally did, she didn’t come face to face with a deliveryman. Instead, she found herself facing two police officers. Now imagine if you were in her shoes and found police in front of you when you thought you were opening the door for a delivery guy. She probably thought that she was in trouble too.

The reason why the police were there was that they arrested her Grubhub driver. Unfortunately, you don’t get to know why he was arrested in the first place. Now, that would have been interesting. After greeting the Arizona woman, the officers explained why they showed up. Of course, she opens her mouth in shock as she can’t quite believe what she just heard. They then hand her pizza as if they are doing this every day. “Well, I really appreciate the pizza,” she says while still in shock. I would have been nosy and asked them why the guy was arrested. No matter what the reason was, at least she still got her pizza.

People Reacting to the Arizona Customer’s Police Encounter

People who saw the video were just as shocked as the Arizona woman. One person couldn’t help but say, “PROTECT and SERVE.” The officers took this sentence to an entirely new meaning. Someone else believed that the customer came out of this situation as a winner. “Well she now has a secret weapon for 2 truth and 1 lie,” they wrote. Another person asked the question we all want to know, as they said, “what did the delivery guy do???” Unfortunately, we will just have to guess. Others believed that if they were in the same situation they would have asked the officers what happened. “Im too nosey I would have asked what he did,” one woman wrote.

The jokes kept coming in as someone also said, “why that never happen when they arrest my dealer.” I’m not sure that is how it works, buddy. If that were the case, the commenter would have been arrested as well. Another person wrote what almost everyone thought: “she 100% thought she was going to jail.” At least she didn’t look suspicious enough to draw attention to her. One TikTok user even praised the officers for still bringing the food. “Props to the police for stepping up and delivering the pizza! A good move in a tricky situation,” she wrote. Now, the Arizona woman has a great story to tell her friends.
