A grown woman acted out of bounds towards a sixteen-year-old employee at Clementon Park, New Jersey, and may likely face the consequences of her actions. The adult was caught on camera, assaulting the minor both physically and verbally. A video capturing the confrontation was shared on Reddit, and it opened with the agitated customer yelling at the young staff in front of other visitors. “A sixteen-year-old b**ch, I’m old enough to be your f**king mother,” the lady furiously lashed out at the girl.
The adult further accused the girl of being immoral as she was heard telling the girl, “You’re probably already getting f**ked around.” Although the employee ignored the angry lady’s outburst, the situation escalated as the woman resorted to violence.
She aggressively struck the employee across the face, leaving the teenager visibly shocked. In an attempt to protect herself, the child reacted to the woman’s attack and asked the hysterical woman not to touch her.
However, the lady disregarded the girl’s request and responded with threats, saying, “I’m about to f**k you up.”
At this point, the minor could be heard calling for help, asking bystanders to alert her supervisors.
The confrontation persisted as the adult continued shouting at the teenager. Soon, other park visitors intervened in the situation, and one individual attempted to restrain the worker. The abusive woman was quickly identified as the Clementon Police Department embarked on an investigation into the situation.
As seen in an Instagram update, the department posted a public statement on their official Facebook page, accompanied by an image of the suspect. They requested the public’s assistance in identifying the adult and also urged eyewitnesses to come forward with information regarding the incident.
The video has sparked outrage among netizens who criticized the woman’s abusive behavior toward the child. One user wrote, “Lack of control from an adult! SMH.”
A second social media user claimed to have identified the woman as “Kelley Seeley from Williamstown, NJ.” The user added that “She is known for this type of behavior.”
Another Redditor expressed disappointment at bystanders who held the employee. The Redditor wrote, “I hate when people grab the victim instead of taking out the trash!”
A critic remarked, “Good, exactly what she got!!”, possibly referring to the fact that the attacker was already identified and would be held accountable.
As of now, the authorities have not issued any official update regarding the status of the investigation. However, given the nature of the case, the woman involved may potentially face legal repercussions for her conduct.
