Something anyone would expect when they go to buy something is to be treated decently and be able to buy what they want. This didn’t happen with a Texas woman who got offended after her horrible experience at Victoria’s Secret. She shared how she went there looking for a set and found the size she wanted on a mannequin. It wasn’t anywhere else and she made sure to check. When she asked for help so that she could get the set off the mannequin, the employee refused. She then told her that she would have to call her manager first. When the manager comes five minutes later, she does exactly what the sales associate did and starts looking around for the size on the mannequin. They do this despite the woman making it clear that she did look for it and couldn’t find it.
You can’t understand why the employees couldn’t just take off the set from the mannequin, sell it to the Texas woman, and then replace it. It looked like they didn’t want to sell it to her. After failing to find the same size, the manager says that she is going to look for it in the back but then changes her mind. She turned back just to tell the woman that the size on the mannequin isn’t her size. The woman never said that she was buying it for herself. The two employees then proceed to loudly compare boobs size. They tell her that they are both 34 and that they “have more” than her. Who even does this? Of course, the woman was offended that they profiled her boobs “in the middle of the store.” She ended up leaving without buying anything including the set she wanted.
People Reacting to the Texas Woman’s Experience at Victoria’s Secret
Everyone agreed with the Texas woman that it was inappropriate for the employees to tell her they have bigger boobs than hers. This made a lot of them also state that they won’t be going to Victoria’s Secret again. Others started asking for the address of the branch, as one woman wrote, “girl put location. Leave a lil cute review.” It’s not like they don’t deserve it. After all, she did share in another video that Victoria’s Secret didn’t reach out to her despite her video going viral. A manager at VS also found the whole situation weird. “I’m a manager at VS. I always. ALWAYS pull it off the mannequin. We can replace the mannequin sets with so many others. So odd.” The same manager also said, “this is such poor training.” Customers shouldn’t be treated like this.
A former Victoria’s Secret employee also chimed in and said, “Former VS employee here… report them asap!” One woman tried to guess why the two employees acted like this. “They probably wanted it for themselves,” she wrote. Well, Victoria’s Secret should definitely respond especially since this Texas branch has been getting horrible reviews on Google from people who saw the video. “Two women associate..they know who they are. Decided to size a young woman without her asking them to, and proceeded to say ‘thats not your size because our boobs are bigger’ how weird of them. They don’t get paid to publicly humiliate a woman,” someone wrote in a one-star review. Other reviews called the customer service there terrible which is expected. Hopefully, the woman would get an apology for how she was treated.
