I think that one of the worst things to deal with is tooth pain. I, like many others, don’t like going to the dentist. Thanks to a South Carolina woman, we now have more reasons to hate anything related to teeth. A woman shared a video where she was heavily bruised. Her face is filled with bruises of different shades and sizes, especially around her jaw. She also has bruises on her throat and a black eye. You would think that she just got the beating of her life, but this wasn’t the case. She got these bruises while having a complex surgery to remove her wisdom teeth. In the video, she is advising people to get their wisdom teeth removed in their early twenties before things escalate. Her condition was so severe that she needed surgery.
The thing is, the bruises looked terrible. They didn’t look like something a surgery should cause. This made the South Carolina woman post another video where she hinted that she was mistreated by her oral surgeon. According to her, before she was put under anesthesia, he was treating her badly as if she were someone she hated. She then mentioned that she woke up from the surgery sobbing and with these bruises on her face. In the caption of her video, she wrote, “More will be ‘exposed’ after I know what I can or can not say. Just keeping myself from doing/saying anything that may put me in a bad position legally.” This basically means that she would be taking legal action, which is honestly the least she could do. She was definitely mistreated, especially since they didn’t give her an irrigation syringe or a post op kit.
People Reacting to the South Carolina Woman’s Horrible Experience
Of course, people were shocked by the number of bruises the South Carolina woman had. They still joked about the situation. One person asked, “we’re u fighting the dentist?” Someone else joked and said, “I got mine out at 27, surgeon wasn’t Connor McGregor though so I was fine.” Another person asked, “Girl did you owe them money???” The jokes kept coming as someone else also asked, “Is Mike Tyson your dentist?” Other people commented on the fact that the woman also had bruises on her throat which shouldn’t even be there. “You are most definitely not supposed to bruise like this,” one person wrote. The South Carolina patient shared more details as she said, “It was a VERY stressful and scary experience from the moment he stepped in the room. I’ve been the the medical field for 17 years- he had zero bed side manner.”
There were also several comments that took the matter more seriously. “Nah, ask for the camera footage girl lmaooo,” one person advised the South Carolina victim. Another TikTok user also said, “I’d bc concerned with SA with this. Ppl do not act like medical assault and SA are not real, unfortunately, it is real. Seriously, I’d be seeking legal and asking for video of the surgery. Outside, of a lupus diagnosis, RA, or severe iron deficiency syndrome this is absolutely insane about if bruising 2wks post op.” Someone else agreed with this opinion as they wrote, “This crossed my mind too because of the bruises around her throat. I’d want medical records to see if I could confirm who all was in the room.” Hopefully, anyone responsible for this would be held accountable.
