Parking spaces are always a problem. In cities, there are sometimes not enough of them, and in residential areas, they are only for a few cars. That’s why each home has a specific parking spot. However, there are still problems, such as this tenant who had just moved into an apartment complex in Oregon, and someone started leaving them notes for parking in the wrong spot. The most ironic thing of all is that the new neighbor was using the parking spot that the managers had assigned to them.
Redditor eggydidnothingwrong shared a very unique photo on r/Apartmentliving. In the image, OP shows some notes complaining that they are using someone else’s parking spot, who supposedly pays for the space. At first, the notes were more polite, but as the OP found more on their windshield, they became angrier and frustrated. One note even accuses the OP of ignoring the other notes, which the OP denies. In addition, that same note says that the OP’s car could have been towed weeks ago for their behavior, but the OP moved a week ago.
Wanting to end the confusion, OP went to the office of their complex in Oregon to verify if their parking spot was truly the wrong one. However, the managers confirmed that OP was using their designated parking spot. The most practical solution OP found was to write a new note with the text: ‘I checked with the office and this is my spot. You should check with them too.‘ Then, OP placed their note on their car windshield. A few hours later, OP’s car disappeared. Fortunately, from that moment on, no more notes from anyone about the parking spot or anything else appeared.
This suggests that the unfortunate situation was simply a misunderstanding. Something similar to what user ChristianArmor mocks, who wrote: ‘”This is my spot, number 9 so moove!” Ma’am, this is spot 6‘. Meanwhile, other users such as ex_cearulo recalled similar situations such as: ‘Ugh. This happened at my wedding because someone flipped over those two table numbersโฆscrewed up the seating arrangements.‘ Something that Friends fan abrack08 couldn’t pass up, sharing the plot of one of the episodes of the series. ‘This is the side plot in an episode of Friends (Ross accidentally puts himself at the kids table instead of the one he wanted)‘. This situation ended well, although perhaps an apology was needed.
